I’m excited to share with you a short video clip from our ongoing Gospel of Peace webcast series. It’s a powerful reminder to embrace the teachings of Jesus Christ, the Prince of Peace, in our troubled and war-torn world.
Embracing Jesus means adopting His way of peace and proclaiming His Gospel of Peace.
We’re not the authors of this message; we’re its messengers, entrusted with a treasure that the world desperately needs. (Perhaps now, more than ever!)
Hebrews 13:20 reminds us that we serve a “God of peace.”
And we know that God’s peace is unlike anything this world can provide as it sustains us through trials, comforts us in sorrow, and empowers us to be agents of peace in a violent world.
Philippians 4:7 offers us a profound promise: God’s peace, which transcends all understanding, will guard our hearts and minds in Christ Jesus!
Our hearts and minds can be covered in God’s peace — if we heed His call to enter into His rest. (See Matthew 11:28-30)
Colossians 3:15 calls us to let the peace of Christ rule in our hearts. When we allow God’s peace to govern our lives, we’ll find that even amidst the stormiest of seas, our souls are anchored, steadfast in the assurance that with Him, we are more than conquerors.
